Our story is Hueman.
1996
Humble Beginnings
In 1996, Hueman started in a spare bedroom as PPR Talent Management Group. Life was good. Travel nursing was in high demand, and business was thriving for it. However, after the economic crash of 2008 and plenty of soul-searching, we realized that things had to change. We began close to home, utilizing the few connections we had.

2009
The Great Catalyst
After the 2008 recession, the desires of clients shifted with hard times. Travel nurses were harder to find, and the need for core staff skyrocketed. Lightbulb Moment!
RPO services became the catalyst for Hueman to create sustainable, value-added partnerships. The founders decided to take a risk despite declining business, a lack of business relationships, and an empty call log (and we’re glad we did).

2010
A passion for leadership
Finding our sweet spot, the leadership team used their expertise to pitch RPO services to local healthcare organizations. We quickly found a passion and skill for working with C-Suite leaders to create company-wide solutions that worked for both their patients and employees. Our company values followed in lockstep and perfectly aligned with our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG), a favorite term of our founding CEO, Dwight Cooper. Hueman’s goal? Become the best place to work in the nation. Because if you care for people, people care about your company.

2016
Hueman is Launched
Finally, in 2016, Hueman People Solutions opened its home office in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Our people-first perspective helped Hueman evolve into what it is today. By creating a positive work environment, we have developed a highly engaged and motivated workforce that outperforms our competitors. It’s all about identifying your core ideology—and living it.

2018
Hueman Expansion
After seeing exponential growth and acquiring over 100 Hueman team members, including 81 recruiters across 18 partnerships, we expanded our efforts and opened our second centralized office in Albuquerque, NM, under COO Joe Marino. Our efforts continued to expand nationwide until our team surpassed 200 employees just two years later.

2024
Continued Growth
With grit and continued dedication to Hueman’s core values, we surpassed 400 recruiters, expanded our home office, and partnered with PrincetonOne, a distinguished RPO provider with a strong presence in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Industrial sectors. The acquisition not only expands our service offerings and industry expertise but adds significant value to the Hueman family.
